Neutrals

  Back to Home

A limited amount of information is known about the Neutral factions. The factions that are known to be Neutral are listed near the bottom of this page.

Unique to Neutral PCs:

Player Characters who opt to not take part in the factional conflicts of the game are free to remain neutral. They will get a wider amount of content but less depth. If a player wants to see everything, go to every town, see as much as they can, then Neutral is where they want to be.

Around the Conflict Towns are camps where players get missions to help their factions. Neutral players don’t want to do those missions. They can however do all the commonly available missions in the town. For example, if a faction controls the town, they’ll have special missions that only they or their allies can get. Neutrals can walk into the town and do other missions that have no faction requirements.

As a Neutral, players do not necessarily need to keep their faction points at a total zero with the main factions – there is some wiggle room either way, but if too many are earned there could be problems. Each mission players run will have a message that says something to the effect of ‘if you complete this mission, you’ll take these faction hits’ before they complete it, this will enable players to make the decision as to whether or not to complete that mission

The Neutral factions aren't much into mutations, but are good at other skills such as Athletics for Franklin's Riders. Neither Neutral faction is overly combat-oriented.

Neutral Faction Gear

Franklin’s Riders get a jacket and a hat. The Bankers have a number of different versions of the same thing. Players don’t get a lot of variety in what they are getting, but Neutral gear is scaled the same as main faction gear

Known Neutral Factions – players may choose to have missions and some story lines with them:

Franklin’s Riders – mail carriers named in honor of Benjamin Franklin.
The Bankers Guild of the Grand Canyon – Operates the banks and controls the Auction Houses
