Healing, Death, and Resurrection

  Back to Home

Players focusing on healing will find it beneficial to learn both the First Aid skill and Mutation Healing. Many of the healing abilities in both are stackable. Most items crafted with the Medicine Tradeskill have a First Aid skill requirement to use, so having it will allow the use of more equipment.

When a player’s hit points drop to zero they are incapacitated. They will have five minutes in which to receive some sort of healing. If healing is not available in that space of time they will go to the nearest appropriate LifeNet pod. They may also opt to forgo the five minute window and resurrect immediately in a ‘pod. Players do not receive death penalties when they are restored by a teammate, only if they go to a LifeNet pod.

The first time a player dies they will suffer a ten minute experience point debuff – they will be able to perform normally but earn xp at a slower rate. If a player dies again, before the first ten minutes is up, they will gain a new debuff which reduces their physical abilities for an additional ten minute period. Players who die again before the second debuff timer expires gain a more serious ten minute debuff to their physical abilities.

Players do not leave lootable corpses and will resurrect with all their gear.
